Cape

 


 This is a cape I made at Beamish for the carolers to wear in cold weather. I like the colour and contrasting lining. I found this simple to construct and I thought I might make one for myself like red riding hood!

My ambition in life is to have a career in the costume industry to create costumes for theatres, television or films. I did a two year course at Newcastle College studying National Diploma Fashion and Clothing/Textiles. At the end of my course I was given three Destinctions overall. I have graduated in 2013 with a Foundation Degree in Costume Construction for Stage and Screen at Cleveland College of Art and Design in Hartlepool.
